We’ve been blessed with a ton of great guests joining us at the Black Cat Bar in recent months. Last week we were joined by Culver City’s very own Tennessee-born flatfoot dancer Rebecca Stout. We’ll be joining her again up at the Topanga Banjo & Fiddle Competition in a few weeks. Here she is doing her thing while we do ours.
We’ve been invited to open up for folk revival luminaries Jim Kweskin and Happy Traum. Kweskin carried the jug band torch for the baby boomer generation, and Traum, a frequent collaborator with this guy Bob Dylan, first recorded a little tune you might have heard called ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’. It’ll be a trip, y’all. Tickets for this show in Encinitas available through San Diego Folk Heritage.
