We have returned from our amazing tour of the South, which culminated with a performance at the National Jug Band Jubilee in Louisville, Kentucky! Read all about it in our latest newsletter, and don’t forget to subscribe at the top left, if you haven’t already.
Clinton has released his first album under his own name: A Season In The Hills of Mexico. Read more about it and take a listen at his website!
We’ve been invited to play Sunday afternoons in July at Liberty Kitchen, the newest restaurant and music destination in north San Diego County. They’re booking tons of our friends and bands we love from SD and LA including Willie Watson (Old Crow Medicine Show), Moonsville Collective, Lady Dottie & The Diamonds, and the Cajun High Life Band. Come on up on July Sundays from 2-5pm. If you live nearby, check out some of these other great bands when they’re on stage too!
After the full band plays its July Sunday afternoon shows in Temecula, Clinton will be heading to Oceanside for his own evening residency at the Pour House. These will be stripped down performances with friends playing more jug band music, old school clawhammer banjo, country duets, and who knows what else. The fun starts at 9pm. You can follow the full schedule for Clinton’s solo shows at his website. To make things a little extra special, Clinton is looking for an upright or spinet piano that he can install for the month. If you live in north San Diego county and have an old moldy instrument in the garage that could stand some lovin’: let us know and we’ll pick it up!
